Bernard Jensen Long Handled Dry Skin Brush
Natural tampico fiber bristles
Ideal for dry brushing the body
This high quality skin brush features 100% natural tampico fiber bristles and a solid lotus wood handle and brush head. The long handle makes this brush great for hard to reach spots like the back. Because the wood is not sealed, this brush is intended for dry use only. Use on all parts of the body except the face since the bristles may be too rough on more delicate facial skin.
Dry brushing keeps skin looking healthy by exfoliating away dead skin cells and may help to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Below the surface dry brushing improves blood circulation and encourages the lymphatic system to drain toxins.*
Q: How can I wash the bristles?
A: On a weekly basis, ruffle through the bristles to dislodge any dead skin cells, hair, dust or debris. This is best done over a trash can or outside. Every one to three months, wash the bristles with warm water and a gentle, natural soap such as castile. Rinse well and air dry.
Q: Can I get the brush wet?
A: This skin brush is meant to be used dry. Continually exposing the unsealed wood base and handle to water will degrade the wood over time. If you use a brush for showering or bathing, we recommend that you get a brush that is meant to withstand frequent exposure to water and use your skin brush only for dry brushing purposes.
Q: What type of fiber are the bristles?
A: The bristles are tampico fiber from agave cactus.
Q: What type of wood is used for the base and handle?
A: The brush base and handle are constructed from solid lotus wood.
